What is the future of architecture?

This question implies two concepts thatare assumed truths. 1. Architecture does, in fact, have a future, and 2. it is unclear what that future will be. The prompt that Architecture (with a capital A), will shape the future is simply not true. The role Architecture plays in a society is complex. The question can only be answered by balancing the extensive precedent of the practice against its potential potency within a rapidly evolving society.
